Blades for the food processing and conservation industry
The fundamental features of these blades are their resistance to corrosion, impact strength and toughness.
Resistance to corrosion is the quality required to prevent superficial deterioration (pitting), which could cause the blade to break and consequently contaminate the product.
To manufacture these blades we use steels series 400 and consequent sintered steels. In some cases, to increase the product’s resistance to corrosion even further, we put it through a chemical electro-polishing process.
